Move over ball boys, we want “ball dogs” at all tennis matches now
With tennis fever in the air as the finals of Wimbledon approach, we thought we’d repost this seriously adorable video from earlier this year.
In an exhibition match between Venus Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova, ball boys were replaced with “ball dogs”, specifically a rescued bullmastiff named Oscar, a Border Collie named Ted, and a Jack Russell/Norfolk Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer cross named Super Teddy.
Dubbed the “best ball boys in the world”, the dogs, who wore cute yellow sweatbands on their paws, diligently chased any loose balls in the match.
Move over ball boys, all we want are “ball dogs” at tennis matches now.
