Adorable baby hare rescued from clutches of bird
A young hare has escaped almost certain death after he was rescued by a passer-by. The week-old baby, named “Seamus” by rescuers, was picked up near Dublin Airport, where he had been dropped by a bird.
Seamus was rushed to Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, where he was wrapped up in a blanket and indulged in a much-needed feed. The little cutie was then transferred to the Kildare Animal Foundation, where he will spend the next 6 to 8 weeks undergoing rehabilitation before being released back into the wild.
