Andrew O'Keefe lands in more hot water

TV personality Andrew O'Keefe has been hit with two fresh domestic violence charges over the alleged assault of his partner.

The former host of Channel 7's 'Deal or No Deal' was arrested early on January 31st after allegedly assaulting Dr Orly Lavee at her Randwick home the night before.

O'Keefe was taken to Maroubra police station and charged with one count of common assault but was later charged with two additional charges, with one charge of common assault and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

After the first initial charge, O'Keefe was taken to hospital for treatment and remained an "involuntary" patient for three weeks after his arrest.

In a statement, NSW Police said: “Following further inquiries, officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command laid two further charges of common assault (DV) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV) on Saturday 13 March 2021.”

“These charges relate to an incident that occurred on Saturday January 30, 2021.”

O'Keefe is yet to enter a plea to any of the charges and the hearing has been rescheduled to the 25th of June.
