Aldi issues nationwide recall of popular food product
Aldi has issued a nationwide recall of a popular product, after bone fragments were found in the packaging of a popular range of hot dogs.
The NSW Food Authority demanded the recall which pertains to 'Berg Smallgoods American Style Skinless Hot Dogs' in a 375g plastic pack.
The recall applies to all hot dogs sold at Aldi outlets in NSW, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia with a use-by date up to and including January 28, 2018.
An Aldi spokesman said the company, "was committed to providing its customers with safe products of the highest quality.
"Aldi is conducting a close investigation with the supplier of the product and is collaborating with the NSW Food Authority," he said.
