Adorable kitten saved in nick of time
We’ve heard cats have nine lives, but this is ridiculous! This tiny kitten owes it life to a collection of attentive workers in North Carolina, USA, who spied the cute kitty in amongst debris on a conveyer belt headed towards a compactor.
One of the operators, Tony Miranda, says the workers were quite surprised when this feisty feline came into view, “We put so much material in here and we run so much stuff through it. It’s just amazing to see a little kitty survive through all this. It made my day today, definitely made my day.”

It’s pretty safe to assume this cat is made of some tough stuff. The fact that she was in the point in the facility suggests she hitched a ride on a garbage truck, was pushed onto the first conveyor belt by a tractor and survived a several foot fall from one belt to another.
After trying to figure out whether the kitten had owners, shift leader Heather Garcia eventually took responsibility for the cute cat, calling her Murphy. Ms Garcia said, “Over the radio, I heard them say that they found a live cat, and I was curious cause, I mean that’s just amazing, but, I wanted to see it. It’s just so cute, I mean why wouldn’t you take it home?”
