5 planets set to align in rare celestial display
Stargazers rejoice! There’s going to be a rare sight in the night sky.
From this morning, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter are all going to be visible to the naked eye and can be observed without a telescope in the early morning sky.
This is the first time the view has been visible since 2005.

The line of planets should form a straight line from Mercury on the horizon to Jupiter up top. Because Mercury is so close to the horizon, try and find as flat a plane as possible for viewing.
The alignment will be visible from January 20 to February 20 and is well worth getting up for.
