The poem that will solve your gift buying worries

As enjoyable as the Christmas season is, sometimes festive celebrations can get a tad overwhelming as your list of presents to buy seems to grow exponentially each year.

These days, children and adults alike get most of the things they want throughout the year, leaving ideas for Christmas presents very slim.

However, a clever rhyme is making the rounds on the internet which gives people clear direction as to what to buy as a present.

It goes like this:

“Something they want.
Something they need.
Something to wear.
Something to read.”

Something they want is usually a toy or game and something they need is usually something practical like a lunchbox or stationary. The last two lines don’t need any explanation.

This rhyme also works when you have to brainstorm ideas for birthday presents.
