The International Living Australian Global Retirement Rankings are in, and through a series of grading procedures, they have found the best places for Australians to retire to in 2019.
With an extensive network of editors, correspondents and contributors spanning four continents, an amassed wealth of information has been collated to bring you the cities and areas you should call home in your golden years.
Places were assessed based on 13 key areas under the branches of Finance, Health, Lifestyle and Governance.
International Living compiled their list through gathering data for 25 countries in 13 categories, from the climate to the cost of living to health care. The goal is to find safe, good-value, enjoyable destinations where a retiree could live and enjoy their twilight years.
