Shannon Noll reveals secret to his happy marriage of 14 years
Shannon Noll has revealed the secret to his happy marriage to wife of 14 years Rochelle.
The 42-year-old Australian Idol star told Daily Mail Australia that communication is key to a happy marriage.
“Silence is the biggest destroyer of marriages,” he explained.
“I think probably communication is the biggest one, we always try to sit down every couple of months and so and really try to focus on each other and get things off our chest.
“What we've found is the more we talk about something, the better result we can come up with and the better remedy for it.”
Shannon and Rochelle, who have three children, wed in October 2004 in Sydney's Cremorne.
He joked that he and his wife are a “taxi service” for the kids.
“Me and Roch we feel more like a taxi service, dropping them here and dropping them there,” he said with a laugh.
“With the kids running around these days, an extra hour in the day would be fantastic,” Shannon said.
“I'd like to spend it having some quiet time, instead of just running around the place all the time. Maybe just read a book or something like that I think.”
