Rowan Atkinson’s shock baby news
Rowan Atkinson is set to become a dad for the third time at the age of 62. According to The Mirror, the Mr Bean actor and his 33-year-old partner, actress Louise Ford, are expecting their first child together.
“Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can’t wait for their new arrival,” a close friend said, after Ford was photographed with a sizeable baby bump. “It’s a very happy time for them both.”
Atkinson already has two adult children, 23-year-old Ben and 21-year-old Lily, with ex-wife Sunetra Sastry. They separated in early 2014 before divorcing in November 2015 after 24 years of marriage.
The Blackadder star met Ford in 2012 while performing together in the West End and the pair began dating in 2014, shortly after Atkinson separated from Sastry. They moved in together just four weeks after Atkinson’s divorce.
“Sunetra was deeply upset to be replaced by such a younger woman,” a friend of the couple told The Sun at the time.
