Ever wondered what a multimillion-dollar wedding looks like? Unless your child’s fiancé is a royal, a Packer or a Kardashian, chances are you won’t see one in person – but at least we mere mortals still get to see the photos!
Recently, Russian oligarch Aleksey Shapovalov finally married his partner of five years (and the mother of his two children), model Ksenia Tsaritsina, in what has to be the most ostentatious ceremony we’ve ever seen.
And what more would you expect from the man who gave his fiancée a 70-carat engagement ring worth a staggering $11.5 million? It’s a wonder she can even lift her hand!
Held at Barvikha Luxury Village hotel in Moscow, the bride wore not one, not two, but three intricate, princess-style gowns and entertained her guests with a “floating” wedding cake and performances from Eurovision runner-up Polina Gagarina and the popular Russian band Leningrad.
“It was unbelievable!” the happy bride gushed on Instagram. “Thank you to all our friends for sharing this magnificent day with us. Thanks to our big and loving family. And, of course, thanks to my beloved planners of this masterpiece wedding. It was unforgettable.”
