Lisa Curry and Mark Tabone’s magical wedding photos
On May 11, former Olympian swimmer Lisa Curry married Elvis Presley entertainer Mark Tabone.
The pair opted for a non-traditional wedding, with Lisa getting married in a pink dress at the Sunshine Coast hinterland property they own.
Guests included Keira Maguire, Natalie Bassingthwaite, Teagan Martin and Julia Morris, whom she met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Guests were asked to wear white, however, Lisa’s mother Pat was the only exception in her green dress.
Mark Tabone chose to his have his son Jesse as his best man and his daughters Tahlia, Aliana and Leticia by his side.
Lisa arrived at the ceremony in a convertible Cadillac with her son Jett.
In an interview with Australian Women's Weekly, Lisa revealed that her dress was a surprise to her new husband.
"I asked him to draw what he thought I would be wearing and he was way off," Lisa said.
During the ceremony, Mark spoke of the unconditional love he and Lisa share.
"Lisa is beautiful inside and out," he said. "We share the same dreams and plans. She is my soul mate.
"He makes my heart sing," Lisa confessed. "He cares about me, he listens to my stories, even if I tell them to him three times. He laughs at my jokes and fixes anything and everything. He massages me when I am tired and sore, and keeps me peaceful with his reassuring nature."
The couple both promised to remember that while neither of them are perfect, “we are perfect together”.
