Great-grandparents finally get dream wedding photos 60 years later
When Dona Rosa and Seu Russo married in 1957, it was a modest affair. The wedding took place in a relative’s yard, an aunt made the cake, and Rosa’s godmother made her dress.
It was a lovely celebration of two young lovebirds, but unfortunately the couple didn’t take any photos of the day.
For the past 60 years, the couple have only their memories of the special day. But that all changed when a collective of creatives in São Paulo, Brazil, teamed up to help the couple recreate their wedding day. This time, there was a photographer and videographer on hand to capture the special day.
It was made even more special as the couple got to recreate their wedding with their nine children, 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The images, captured by photographer Dávid from Sao Paulo Fotografia, show the pair are still very much in love.
