SOLD! Meryl Streep’s New York City home is finally snapped up

Hollywood heavyweight Meryl Streep has sold her posh Tribeca penthouse for an eye-watering $15.8 million.

The stunning, spacious property was first put on the market in August 2018 for $25 million, however after struggling to find a buyer, the actress lowered the price to $19.75 million and then $18.25 million.

Situated on a full floor in the River Lofts Tower, the state-of-the-art home comes with all the bells and whistles – from an Italian-designed kitchen to floor-to-ceiling windows offering jaw-dropping views of beautiful New York City.

Spanning over 4,000 feet, the Oscar Award-winning actress’ NYC home comes with the promise of privacy, space and luxury all in one – a rare find in the Big Apple.

The living room is an art piece in itself with a wood-burning fireplace, windows that offer landscape views and direct entry to an elevator and a skylit entrance gallery.

Made to entertain, please and give a sense of comfort, the home offers open-plan living and is outfitted with a 10-foot wide terrace that wraps around three sides of the penthouse.

This gem may not have been a forever home for Streep, but it is definitely a keepsake for a luxury-lover looking to find peace in the bustling city.
