When you’re one of television’s biggest stars a nice place comes with the territory, which is why no one should be surprised Ellen DeGeneres’ immaculate Santa Barbara Estate that she owns with partner Portia de Rossi is hitting the market for a whopping $39.5 million. But if the Ellen star had it her way, it’d be going for more.
The Tuscan-inspired mansion, which you can view in the gallery above, originally hit the market with a price tag of $45 million, but the couple has knocked almost $6 million off the asking price just to get it off their hands.
The mansion has long been considered the jewel in the crown of the couple’s real estate empire, and sits in an exclusive part of California home to the likes of Oprah Winfrey.
