Brisbane woman walks past snake “four or five times” at home without realising

A Brisbane woman got the fright of her life when she spotted a snake at the entrance to her Ashgrove home.

The woman had been unloading groceries from her car, walking past the slithering guest “four or five time” before realising the snake was even there.

But in a photo shared by the Snake Catchers Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan & Gold Coast Facebook page, it’s clear the snake was well hidden. We would have missed it too!

Licensed snake catcher Lana Field told Yahoo7 that the woman had made a number of trips before realising there was a carpet python watching her.

Have you spotted it yet? Flick through the gallery to reveal the answer.

Ms Field said this snake may have come down off the guttering and could have been figuring out where to go next.

She advised if you find a snake at home, give them space and call a licensed snake catcher to relocate the snake.

"Everyone is safe when they leave the snake alone," Ms Field said.
