Aussie family finds scary surprise hiding under their Christmas tree
A Queensland family have received an unexpected Christmas present after discovering a red belly black snake hiding among presents under their tree.
Snake catcher Stuart McKenzie said the family first spotted the “Christmas red” under the Christmas tree on Monday, reported the Sunshine Coast Daily.
The family, who live in Mt Coolum, called the snake catcher to safely remove it but it had disappeared, finding a new hiding spot.
“When I arrived it was nowhere to be seen, but after some searching I found it inside the bottom part of a printer which was under the TV cabinet,” Stuart said.
“How it fit in there is crazy.”
