5 strange items being stolen from Aussie homes right now
Most people go to great lengths to ensure their homes are secure from potential break ins, but unfortunately, over a quarter of Australians have had their homes broken into at least once.
And while it may be assumed that items that get stolen the most are TV’s, jewellery boxes or other expensive appliances, new research by ING reveal that thieves are choosing to take smaller, more valuable things.
The results show five items in particular that are popular amongst robbers:
- VHS tapes
- DVD’s
- Stamp collections
- Musical instruments
- Vinyl collections
It also doesn’t end there, as items such as taxidermy, collectable toys and games are also being knicked from people’s homes.
