Three super healthy breakfast ideas

Because the best way to start your day is with a good healthy meal. If you make the right food choices at breakfast it will help to maintain your energy levels throughout the day. You'll also be less likely to make bad food choices and also avoid overeating.

Eggs and spinach on toast with a side of baked beans

To kick start your day, try poached eggs atop a bed of baby spinach and on seeded toast, with a side salt-reduced baked bean. Baked beans are a great source of iron, B vitamins and fibre and baby spinach is full of beta-carotene, vitamin K and folate.

Porridge with pear, banana and cinnamon

Oats are rich in beta-glucan, a type of soluble fibre that is beneficial for reducing cholesterol levels, and thus a great breakfast option. Try whole oat porridge with almond milk, diced pear and banana, cinnamon, almond flakes, chia seeds and a drizzle of raw honey.

Super green juice

Rich in antioxidants, a green super smoothie is a great way to start the day. Make yours with baby spinach, parsley, celery, cucumber, apple, lime, and avocado. Add a teaspoon of spirulina for extra protein and nutrients.
