Roasted honey pears with yoghurt

The bold flavours of the honey pears combine perfectly with the sweetness of the yoghurt to make a dessert that’s incredibly hard to put down. Delicious!

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. To begin, combine honey and water in a small roasting pan.
  2. Add pears, raisins and cinnamon.
  3. Cover pan tightly with foil and roast at 200⁰C for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove foil and turn the pears.
  5. Roast, uncovered, for a further 10 minutes or until pears are caramelised and tender, basting with syrup during cooking.
  6. Spoon yoghurt into serving bowls, top with warm pears and sprinkle almonds.
