Prince Charles set to appear on MasterChef Australia

Prince Charles is well and truly making the most of his tour Down Under, and the king in waiting is set to cap it all off with a surprise appearance on MasterChef Australia.

The Daily Telegraph reports His Royal Highness was in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory as part of his tour of Australia, where he was welcomed to the scared sight Mount Nhulun, Nhulunbuy by traditional owner and ceremony leader Witiyana Marika.

After visiting the sacred area Prince Charles rounded his day off by making a surprise appearance on the Channel 10 reality television show.

While specifics have been kept under wraps, it’s believed that contestants plated up for the Prince of Wales, who was the guest of honour at a reception to commemorate 150 guests at the Royal Flying Doctor Service base in Darwin.

Prince Charles’ wife Camilla is reportedly a big fan of the show and urged him to pop his head in.

What are your thoughts? Do you think he’ll make a good addition to Masterchef?
