Horror moment as raw chicken 'comes alive' in viral video: "I'm traumatised"
A video showing what appears to be a raw piece of chicken moving on its own has gone viral.
A woman filmed a raw piece of chicken twitching and jumping off the plate and onto the ground.
The video, which has accumulated 6.3 million views at the time of writing, shows the meat twitching off a plate to the dining table before falling to the floor.
The clip garnered reactions of surprise and disgust from social media users.
“I would’ve run out that kitchen so fast!” one wrote.
“I’m traumatised,” another chimed in.
Some people claimed that the nerves could have been to blame for the movement.
“When fresh meat … is mixed with salt their body has a reaction and its nerves thinks it’s still alive so it tries to get away,” one commented.
