"You have to clean up your act": Sarah Harris reveals the surprising dirty habit she has kicked

Throughout the years, Sarah Harris has been open about her experiences and journey as a mother in raising her two sons with husband Tom Ward.

In a new interview with The Herald Sun, the Studio 10 host shared that she cut out a bad habit after having children.

The 38-year-old said she is working on fixing her tendency to use curse words.

“I do have a potty mouth, but you have to clean up your act when you have children,” Harris said.

“They are sponges and when they start using the f-word in context at preschool you know you are in trouble. I have become better. That is a flaw in my character that I am working on.”

She also started taking steps to break her Diet Coke drinking habit. In April, the presenter enlisted the help of hypnosis specialist and business consultant Daniel Tolson on the morning show to beat the addiction with mind tricks. However, she said she is “too stubborn” to be open to the method.

“[Diet Coke] is one of my last vices. Now that I have got young kids I rarely drink and I just need something to pep me up,” she said.

“I have got it down to two cans of Coke in the afternoon. I was buying them by the carton and it was not until my husband said, ‘You have gone through three cartons this week’, that I decided I had to try and change my ways.”

Harris said since joining the show in December 2013, her life has changed significantly.

“I feel like I have gained two kids, 10kg and a husband on this show,” she said.

“I was just engaged to my husband Tom when I joined the show, and now we have two sons, Paul and Harry.”
