Terri Irwin shares sweet image for Bindi's birthday
Bindi Irwin is 23 and her family is paying tribute in the sweetest way they know how.
It is The Crikey! It's The Irwins star’s first birthday as a mother to baby Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, who was born in March this year.
Bindi's mother Terri Irwin was one of the first to wish her daughter a happy birthday on July 24, after taking to Twitter to post a sweet message alongside an image of Bindi, Terri, and the late Steve Irwin.
"Happy birthday, beautiful Bindi. You have always been our greatest adventure!" the 57-year-old wrote, alongside the beautiful throwback.
Bindi's husband Chandler Powell, 24, also took to social media to honour his wife.
Sharing a photo of Bindi holding a smiling Grace as Chandler holds a turtle, he wrote: "Happy birthday to the most amazing woman I know. Wife, mother, and Wildlife Warrior.
“My favourite thing about you is your kind heart.
"You dedicate each day to bringing happiness and love to everyone around you. Today it's our turn to celebrate how incredible you are. I love you ❤️"
Chandler also shared an image of Bindi cradling baby Grace in her arms to his Instagram Story.
Bindi's 17-year-old brother Robert Irwin shared his own well wishes on Instagram.
The young Irwin posted a photo of Bindi, Chandler, himself and Grace, who is sporting a very fashionable pair of purple sunnies.
"Happy birthday @bindisueirwin 😊," Robert's message began.
"You've always been the best sister, and now it's so cool to see you as such a wonderful mum to little Grace! I'm so proud of you! (Ps. You and Chandler are raising an absolute fashion icon 😂😎)"
Australia Zoo also shared a heartfelt message for the now 23-year-old ahead of her birthday.
"Tomorrow is @BindiSueIrwin's first birthday as a mother💕 She has inspired the world with her kindness and passion for making the world a better place," Australia Zoo wrote on Instagram.
Bindi herself closed out her special day with a post of her own on Instagram.
"My first birthday as a mama has been the most beautiful gift. Our sweet Grace Warrior's face says it all," Bindi's message read.
"Today I celebrated by feeding Monty the crocodile and hugging my gorgeous girl (not at the same time!). 💛
“Thank you for the lovely birthday messages and kind support, it means the world to me."
