So sweet! Prince Louis’ adorable moment with Prince Charles in never-before-seen photos
When it comes to the heir to the throne, it’s unthinkable for normal folk to grab his nose or any other part of his face, but when you’re Prince Louis, then the rules don’t apply.
A photograph released by Clarence House shows the youngest royal playfully grabbing onto his grandfather, Prince Charles’ nose, and the 70-year-old finds it hilarious.
The family photo proves that Charles is happiest when he’s surrounded by his children and grandchildren, as with his busy schedule, he feels content when he can find time for the people closest to him.
The Prince is currently a grandfather to three grandchildren, with another on the way as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to welcome a child of their own next April.
The second photo of the royal shows him beaming with joy as he holds the little Prince in his arms.
The new photographs released this week by the palace are from the same series of portraits taken back in September to celebrate Charles’ 70th birthday. Louis, who was almost five months at the time, was seen giving a toothless grin to someone behind the camera.
It has previously been reported that Charles is not a hands-on grandparent and doesn’t spend time with his grandchildren, but these photos seem to prove otherwise.
According to his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, he may not change nappies but will happily oblige when it comes to getting on the floor and playing with his grandkids.
Camilla commented on how Louis can’t get enough of Charles’ hair and nose, as the seven-month-old constantly chooses to grab onto them.
“People don’t see him as being someone who will roll around the floor with the children, but he does,” Camilla said. “He will literally get down on his hands and knees. He really loves them. He is sweet with his own grandchildren and little Louis tugs at his hair and his nose. He doesn’t get cross or angry, he loves it.”
The endearing photographs were taken by official royal photographer Chris Jackson, who followed Prince Charles for a year to showcase his life for his 70th birthday.
