Princess Mary offers rare glimpse into her home office for Children's Day

Crown Princess Mary has shared a glimpse into her home office in a new video.

On Sunday, the Danish Royal Family shared an Instagram clip of the Princess giving an announcement about a special annual event celebrated by Danes across the country.

Mary could be seen sitting at her Palace office, where a set of black-and-white portraits of the Princess’ four children – Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine – was featured on the wall.

Mary explained in Danish how Children’s Day is celebrated in the Nordic country this year.

The Palace stated in the caption: “HRH The Crown Princess sends greetings on Children’s Day 2020.

“Like other events, the Children’s Aid Day is this year affected by the situation with the spread of coronavirus, and the planned marking in Kongens Have in Copenhagen and the City Hall Park in Aarhus have therefore been cancelled.”

The Palace stated that the day would be marked online instead so that people can participate from their homes.

Mary and her family are currently in isolation in Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen after cutting short their three-month stay in Switzerland.
