Prince Harry’s real name isn’t Harry

Prince Harry is one of the most recognisable men in the world, but it seems many have forgotten that he was actually born with a different moniker - Henry.

Born on September 15, 1984, the 32-year-old royal’s full name is Henry Charles Albert David Mountbatten-Windsor, and officially, he’s High Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales.

And he’s certainly not the first royal Henry - the name has belonged to 12 kings alone, not to mention the many dukes, earls and lords who also bore the name.

Surprisingly enough, it’s a misunderstanding the Prince shares with his girlfriend, Meghan Markle. The 35-year-old actress was in fact born as Rachel Markle, but goes by her middle name professionally. Coincidentally, the character she plays on Suits, who shot her to fame in recent years, is also named Rachel.

So it begs the question - what do these two call each other?
