Dogs and humans have lived harmoniously together for tens of thousands of years, so naturally, they’ve evolved alongside us. Today, there are 339 “official” breeds of dog, but there are countless mixes and mutts in households around the world. However, you might be surprised to learn that many of these breeds look drastically different today compared to when they were first registered.
