Lisa Curry honours her late daughter with emotional video

Lisa Curry has shared an emotional video of her scattering her late daughter's ashes in the snowy mountains of Canada.

The former Olympian posted the heart-wrenching moment to Instagram, revealing why she decided to scatter her daughter's remains at scenic locations all over the world.

Supported by her husband Mark Tabone, the 60-year-old tearfully released some of her daughter's ashes under a snowy tree.

She captioned the footage with some moving words, "I decided a while ago I would take Jaimi with me to any place that was incredibly amazing."

"We started at Kawana Beach, her favourite beach and Mt Coolum. Then she went to Paris, San Diego, Mt Kosciusko and now the Yukon."

"Those of us who are in this sad situation of losing a child all have our own ways of remembering those we love. This is my way. Our beautiful Jaimi. Never forgotten. Resting. Happy. Free. Forever in nature in the Yukon, Canada," she added.

Jaimi, Lisa's eldest daughter with ex-husband Grant Kenny, died in 2020 following an 18-year battle with alcohol addiction and an eating disorder.

Jaimi died at Sunshine Coast University Hospital on September 14, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Announcing the sad news on social media, Lisa wrote, "Our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital yesterday morning with her loving family by her side."
