Jennifer Aniston shares sad family news
Jennifer Aniston has paid tribute to her father John, who has passed away at age 89.
The actress shared a series of photos of her dad, along with the emotional caption reading, “Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew.”
“I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace - and without pain. And on 11/11 no less!”
“You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now I’ll love you till the end of time.”
“Don’t forget to visit,” she said.
Jennifer’s post was flooded with well wishes from her Hollywood friends, with actress Andie MacDowell commented, “Great face gorgeous father. Sending love.”
Model Helena Christensen added, “He looks so wonderful with such tender smiling eyes, sending you so much love.”
Actress Naomi Watts said, Sending big love,” while Chelsea Handler simply posted two red heart emojis, as did Jennifer’s ex-husband Justin Theroux.
John was a Greek-born American actor who was best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on the drama series Days of Our Lives, which he began in July 1985.
John also went on to star in Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, and Mad Men, as well as Kojak and Inhumanoids.
In April of this year, the actor received a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 49th Annual Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy Awards in June.
