First time photo of Prince Philip with ALMOST all the great-grandkids

The British Royal Family has released a series of never-before-seen photos in a coordinated social media tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh.

The royals shared a photo of Prince Philip and the Queen surrounded by seven of their great-grandchildren in a photo taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at Balmoral Castle in 2018.

The Queen and the Duke now have 10 great-grandchildren, with Meghan Markle pregnant with their 11th.

In the photo, the Queen is seen holding Prince Louis, while Isla Phillips is cradling her younger cousin Lena Tindall, second daughter of Mike and Zara Tindall.

Eldest great-grandchild Savannah Phillips, daughter of Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn, can be spotted standing in the back.

At the front is Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Isla with Lena and Lena's big sister, Mia Tindall.

Both August and Lucas, who were born in February and March respectively, have the middle name Philip in honour of their great-grandfather.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also released a family photo on their Instagram account, showing the pair standing alongside the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in 2015, the year she was born.

"Today we share, along with Members of The @RoyalFamily, photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh, remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather," they explained alongside the image.
