The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge prepare for George’s first day of school

They sure do grow up fast! We can hardly believe it’s time for Prince George to start school, but preparations for his first day in September are already well underway.

Reports suggest the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already attended orientation at Thomas’ Battersea School, a prestigious private institution costing more than $11,000 per term. He will be one of around 60 new students attending the prep school in a couple of months’ time.

“They were there just chatting with the other parents,” an onlooker told E! News. “They seemed very sweet and normal. George was there as well. He met his new teacher.

“The kids went into their new classrooms for an hour to meet their new classmates and hear from their teachers. During that time, the parents met the head of the school and were given a welcome talk where they were told the exact specifics of the children's first day.”

Earlier this year, Kate joked her 3-year-old doesn’t have “any idea what’s going to hit him” when he starts school. One thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to see the photos!
