David and Candice Warner welcome third child

David and Candice Warner have welcomed their latest addition to the family in London after a major win for the cricketer in the Australian opener.

The sportsman rushed to be by his wife’s side once Australia took the win over New Zealand for the birth of baby number three.

The parents jointly announced the arrival of their baby girl, Isla Rose Warner, to the world on Instagram, sharing the tiny tot was born at 10:30 pm on Sunday night (Monday morning AEST).

It is believed Candice gave birth to her third daughter with her husband in the exclusive Lindo Wing in London where Duchess Kate, Princess Diana and Amal Clooney had their own children.

Isla Rose joins two big sisters, Ivy Mae and Indy Rae.

“We welcomed our newest family member Isla Rose Warner at 10:30 pm late last night. @candywarner1 was absolutely amazing. Mum and Bub doing very well, and her big sisters are over the moon. #prouddad,” David shared on Instagram.

The family are in England for the World Cup followed by the Ashes campaign which will commence next month.

Warner has opened up about the couple’s difficult 15 months and how the journey had changed his outlook during his time away from cricket.

Both David and Candice suffered two separate miscarriages during the sportsman’s 12-month ban after the ball tampering scandal in Cape Town.

“Yeah, definitely [gives it all perspective],” Warner said last week.

“It was unfortunate we had the two miscarriages during that time, and we would have had one (baby) before this.

“The stats are there, one in four I think it is.”
