Royal style watch: Princess Mary steals the show with stunning look

One of Australia’s most beloved royal members, the Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, has stepped out for the opening of a special new museum exhibition.

Shining in a forest green A-line skirt, a stylish pair of black suede heels and a black high-neck sweater, the Australian-born member of the Danish royal family has shown she can make dressing stylish in winter easy.

The Princess was in Copenhagen on Friday for the official opening ceremony of the Fashioned From Nature art exhibition at the Danish National History Museum.

The vibrant display explored the rich colour in nature by presenting clothing from some of the world’s leading art and design museums, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Along with the elegant scientific designs related to the history of fashion includes colourful beetles, exotic bird feathers, stuffed hummingbirds, whalebone used in dressmaking, and Nordic amber and toxic plant seeds made into jewellery.

The Fashioned From Nature exhibition focuses on using nature’s own materials in the fashion industry.

Princess Mary’s stunning ankle length skirt seemed to be inspired by the theme of the event, with a stunning pattern design – along with the earthy colour.
