Royal portraits released to celebrate 10 years of marriage for William and Kate
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with the world by releasing two new portraits.
British photographer Chris Floyd snapped the images of the pair earlier this week at Kensington Palace – Prince William and Duchess Kate’s London home.
The Duchess of Cambridge was donned in a dress by British label Ghost.
Prince William and his then long-term girlfriend married at Westminster Abbey on April 29,2011.
Two billion people tuned in to watch the ceremony.
The world sat and watched the bride make her way down from Goring Hotel with eyes glued to the television screens.
Dressed in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown, the royal was a sight to behold.
More than 2000 people were invited to the ceremony including royalty from around the world, dignitaries and people that had connections to the couple's charities.
It was a first in royal history however that Westminster Abbey held a record number of William and Kate's close friends as they wanted the day to be as personal and as meaningful as it can be when you are the future King of England.
While it has been a little over ten years since the spectacular day, the world still remembers what it was like waiting with bated breath to see the glorious bride for the first time.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share three children together, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
