Julie Bishop turns heads in stunning designer gown
Former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has proven yet again that she’s a fashion icon.
Celebrating the 2020 Telethon over the weekend, the 64-year-old opted for a dusty pink, sequinned Rachel Gilbert gown that featured feathers on the lower half of the dress.
Taking to Instagram to share a photo, Bishop wrote: “Ready for the ball.”
Photographer Russell James gave a closer look at her sparkly gown, sharing a photo with the former politician to his Instagram stories.
This isn't the first time Bishop has stepped out in style for a good cause and claimed 'belle of the ball' honours. Earlier this month she wore a custom-made Jaimie Sortino gown while clinging to the Cottesloe Bell for a shoot to help raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
