4 ways to wake up with your hair already done

Here’s a trick to help you longhaired ladies wake up with a flawless ‘do. After your evening shower, follow our tips below to ensure all the hard work is done while you sleep.

Waves

Towel dry your hair and then form a loose braid, which will form the basis of the waves. Then in the morning remove the hair tie and use your fingers to break the waves apart. If your hair is still damp let it air dry if you have time, or use a diffuser to remove any moisture. Apply a spritz of hair spray to keep the waves in place.

Straight

If your curly hair takes a while to straighten, this will really help. After showering and towel drying, ensure your hair is well brushed and fairly straight. Part your hair down the centre and form two low ponytails. Use soft elastic bands to avoid any indentations on your hair. Then add more elastic bands every two to three centimeters down your pony tail, all the way to the end. When you wake up in the morning, your hair should be straight. Any kinks can quickly be ironed out with a hair straightener, saving you valuable time. Then style as normal.

Curls

Apply some curl cream to towel dried hair, and then form two to three tight braids. In the morning, tousle your fingers through to separate and define the curls. Avoid blow-drying if possible, as air-drying will allow for smoother curls with less fuzz.

Curly Pony Tail

This one is relatively simple. After towel drying your hair, twist it as though you were ringing it out, and then bring it around to form a tight bun at the base of your hairline. Secure in place and then in the morning let the bouncy curls air dry a little before adding some styling cream and putting up.

Will these ideas save you time getting ready in the morning?
