Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan reunite in stunning style

Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan, along with their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry, celebrated Commonwealth Day on Monday at a Westminster Abbey service.

The couples arrived separately but greeted each other inside.

While Duchess Kate greeted Prince Philip with a double kiss on the cheeks, Duchess Meghan opted for a more formal approach, as she dipped into a curtsy before giving him a friendly hello.

A palace insider told PEOPLE about the rules of curtsying:

“There is no hard and fast rule [about curtsying]. There is such a lot of nonsense published about this. There is nothing written down about this, even for members of the royal family. People normally just do what they feel comfortable with.”

Duchess Kate turned heads in her all red Catherine Walker coat dress with matching fascinator. Duchess Meghan opted for a cream coat over a printed dress with a matching pillbox hat.
