Michael and Kyly Clarke share update on 2-year-old daughter’s health scare
Her two-year-old daughter Kelsey-Lee Clarke was recently rushed to hospital, so doting mum Kyly Clarke is holding her little girl close as she continues to recover from the mystery illness.
The wife of former cricket captain Michael Clarke was all smiles as she posed for a picture with her daughter, which Michael proudly shared to his Instagram on Sunday.
Michael captioned the snap: “It's now family time”.
He previously shared an update on his daughter’s health scare, writing: “My little girl is on the mend. It’s amazing what a few red frogs can do.”
Kyly also took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself cuddling Kelsey-Lee on her lap during a ferry ride.
It seems all is well for Clarke family after a scare last week, where Michael posting a photo of his wife cuddling their daughter in a hospital bed.
“It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. One very sick little girl and one very worried Mumma. Fortunately all is well,” Michael shared at the time.
The Clarkes are unfortunately no stranger to health concerns when it comes to their daughter, who was born premature. Last July, in an interview with Stellar magazine, Kyly expressed concern about Kelsey's time in an incubator.
“There’s always this underlying concern,” she admitted. “Is this going to affect her as she grows? Michael and I have been lucky enough that Kelsey Lee has grown into a healthy and happy child. But that’s not always the circumstance for a lot of parents.”
