Lisa Curry honours late daughter with touching birthday message

Lisa Curry has honoured the life of her late daughter, Jaimi Kenny, on what would've been her 34th birthday.

The former Olympian made a tribute to Jaimi in a heartfelt Instagram post, following nine months since she tragically passed away.

"Our beautiful Jaimi, born at 9.03am, 34 years ago," Lisa began in her tribute shared on June 25.

"Today is a hard day. I can't even explain how I feel. I have no words. Happy birthday Jaimi. We all miss you and love you greatly.???????????? #rememberingjaimi."

The Olympian swimmer attached a series of throwback photos featuring Jaimi, including the proud mum cradling her baby girl.

Nine months may have come and gone since Jaimi passed away aged 33 following a long-term battle with an undisclosed illness.

Despite the days and months that have separated Lisa from when she last saw her daughter, she has spoken up about the “exhausting” and “overwhelming” loss for Body+Soul.

"It's been a long, hard road for our family. Actually, it's been a really s----y year," she wrote.

"Analysing the constant thoughts of losing our most precious firstborn, our Jaimi, has been sad and exhausting. It's overwhelming. It's never-ending."

Lisa has also often shared updates on how she's coping with losing her daughter on Instagram.

In a recently made post, Curry admitted that she is still struggling to come to terms with grief.

"Our Jaimi, My brain has thoughts and conversations that my mouth can't say," she wrote in April.

“It's hard to talk about the pain and fear that is felt daily...life goes on," she wrote alongside a sweet selfie with her daughter."
