Jimmy Barnes' wife shares "graphic" recovery update

Jimmy Barnes' wife Jane has shared the latest update into the rockstar's recovery following his open-heart surgery.
The 67-year-old underwent emergency surgery on Wednesday, following a bacterial infection that spread to a valve in his heart. He has since been recovering, with the help of his loved ones, with his wife consistently sharing updates on his condition.
Her latest post was on Monday, five days after the singer's surgery.
“(Graphic warning) Day 5 post cardiac and off with the dressing,” she captioned the photo posted on Instagram.
"Jimmy is trying to cheer me up and laughing at his own joke. Things are getting back to normal. Here are some beautiful roses from our garden to say thank you 🙏"
The Working Class Man singer was pictured smiling in his hospital bed with a huge scar running down his chest.
Just a day before, Jane shared a photo of Jimmy enjoying his "first Sunday roast" in the hospital bed, and another photo showed the couple getting some fresh air outside of the hospital.
These posts comes just days after Jane shared that Jimmy was recovering well in the ICU following a successful surgery.
Fans were quick to share their encouragement to the rockstar.
"Keep getting stronger Jimmy. With Jane’s support and love and the amazing medical staff," wrote one fan.
"God love you J & J sharing your journey as it helps others. Also you are brave as with any major surgery comes a feeling of vulnerability - bring on good times," added another.
