Exciting news for Erin Molan
Erin Molan is best known as a presenter and sports journalist for the Nine Network, but the 35-year-old is about to take on an exciting new role – motherhood. The TV star announced she is expecting her first baby with fiancé Sean Ogilvy on 9 News on Friday evening.
“Sean and I are very blessed and very excited to announce, I guess, that we are having a child, which is slightly terrifying but beautiful news,” she told newsreader (and new Today co-host) Georgie Gardner, who shared a snap of the pair on Instagram to celebrate the happy news.
“Hugest of congratulations to the fabulous Erin Molan who’s having a baby!” she captioned the photo. “Woohoo!”
The announcement comes seven months after Molan confirmed during an episode of The Footy Show that she and her policeman partner were to be married.
“It was really, really lovely, I’m the luckiest girl on the world,” she said, joking that she’s “just really excited that now I can just let myself go. I don't have to try anymore, I’m not shaving my legs.”
