Woollies shopper reveals how she saved $540 on single Christmas shop

A woolies customer has revealed how she managed to pay only $62 of her $602 Christmas grocery bill.

The Aussie shopper posted her savings trick in a Facebook group called “Markdown Addicts Australia”, revealing how being a Woolies rewards member saved her hundreds.

She explained how her bill came to over $600. She received a 10% discount, capped at $50, for using the Everyday Rewards Extra program.

Thanks to previous purchases using the rewards program, she received a $470 discount which she had held onto until the festive season.

She also had eight times bonus points on her shop, giving her another $20 off. As a result she saved a huge $450 on her shop by being a Woolworths Rewards member.

Customers can save their points throughout the year with the “Bank for Christmas” option.
