Commonwealth Bank customers warned about latest scam email

The NSW Police Force has issued a warning on their Facebook page about an email scam targeting Commonwealth Bank customers.

The email asks the user to click on a link to access their accounts and read a message from the bank.

Although the email appears genuine, it is fraudulent and should be deleted immediately.

 

The Commonwealth Bank warns there’s quite a few scam emails in circulation targeting their customers. These include asking recipients to participate in a survey, update account details, activate cards, win prizes and money, or claim you qualify for fee refunds or unlock frozen accounts.

All these emails are scam that aim to capture your personal details.
