While they might not be the most appealing portion of an evening’s entertainment, there’s something about a television commercial that captures a period of history.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to take a fond look back at some of our favourite TV ads from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Whether it’s a young Ritchie Benaud hawking tins of Milo between test matches, or an odd cartoon designed to convince us that Caltex is the petrol station to go with, these classic Australian commercials will jog a memory of two.
