Man arrested in search for Samantha Murphy
A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Ballarat mum Samantha Murphy.
Missing Persons Squad detectives have detained the 22-year-old man at his home in Ballarat shortly after 6am on Wednesday.
“He remains in custody, however no charges have been laid at this time,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
The mum was last seen leaving her home at around 7am on Sunday, February 4, to go for her usual morning run.
Multiple searches have been conducted by authorities and specialists over the past month, but they have yet to find her.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone who has CCTV or dash-cam footage that have yet to speak to police to come forward.
