Jeffrey Epstein's 'madam' Ghislain Maxwell spotted in Paris

British socialite and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, is reportedly "hiding out" in a luxury Paris apartment, according to The Sun.

The 58-year-old reportedly fled to France to avoid questioning in the US over her connection to the late disgraced billionaire and has been living in plain sight in Paris's exclusive 8th Arrondissement, just a few minutes away from Epstein's property that was raided last year.

A US Federal Bureau of Investigation probe is currently focusing on Maxwell and others who facilitated his alleged trafficking on underage girls said law enforcement sources in December.

Maxwell's whereabouts have remained unknown as she disappeared from the public eye since 2016.

The socialite has denied the allegations against her.

But according to The Sun, she was spotted in France before COVID-19 lockdowns were enforced and has stayed there ever since.

Sources told The Sun that Maxwell hopes to benefit from being a French citizen as she cannot be extradited should she face criminal charges in the United States.

Maxwell has been accused of recruiting underage girls for Epstein to abuse, but she has denied those claims.
