A terrifying dash cam of reckless drivers on a highway has revealed the reason why you should never overtake vehicles while driving in the emergency lane.

The footage was taken on a Russian highway, but it’s a stark reminder to all drivers to obey the road rules and practice safe driving habits when they’re behind the wheel.
