Harrison Ford comes to the rescue after car accident

On Sunday, Harrison Ford came to the real-life rescue of a woman who was involved in a car accident north of Los Angeles.

Santa Paula, California, police told the Ventura County Star that the actor and a friend were in the area when a car rolled off a highway around noon.

The woman was driving on California State Route 126 and lost control of her vehicle and crashed into an embankment off the freeway.

Senior Office Matt Alonzo said Ford and his friend came to the driver’s aid and acted as good Samaritans.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived," said Senior Officer Matt Alonzo.

Ford and other bystanders were able to help the woman out of the car.

The lady suffered minor injuries and the California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the incident.
