Viewers' verdict: New reality show Dance Boss is “worst thing on TV this year”

The premiere of Dance Boss left viewers less than impressed last night, with many taking to social media to pan the competition as the “worst thing on TV”.

The family-friendly dance contest sees everyday people compete to win over celebrity judges and the cash prize of $100,000 – but some fans were left questioning the calibre of the dance routines.

One Twitter user wrote: “Bravo #DanceBoss. You are the worst thing on TV this year or maybe ever.”

Another viewer tweeted: “#DanceBoss was the worst thing I have ever seen on TV ever.”

Yet another joked: “@DanniiMinogue blink twice if they're holding you against your will #danceboss.”

One fan simply asked: “Is #DanceBoss meant to be serious? #horrendous.”

However, not all the reviews were bad, with plenty of love for host Danni Minogue.

Judges include actress and dancer Sharni Vinson, 35, who returned to Australia to from LA to appear on Dance Boss alongside actor and dancer Adam Garcia, 45.
